What exactly does HookMaster do?

HookMaster is a video feedback tool built for short-form creators. You upload a video, and our AI watches it frame by frame to tell you what's working and what's not. You get timestamped notes on your hook, pacing, visuals, and retention. If something needs fixing, you can generate new clips right inside the app using Fix Studio.

How does video analysis work?

Upload any MP4 or MOV up to 90 seconds. Our AI breaks down your video second by second and scores your hook strength, pacing, and visual quality. You get a viral score, a hook score, and specific feedback tied to exact timestamps so you know precisely where viewers would drop off.

Fix Studio lets you act on your feedback without leaving HookMaster. When the analysis flags a weak section, you can generate a replacement clip using AI video models like Kling, Veo, and Seedance. Pick the flagged moment, choose a fix direction, and the AI generates a new clip you can drop into your edit.

How does Style Match work?

Upload a reference video that has the style you want, like a viral TikTok or Reel. HookMaster breaks down its pacing, cut frequency, color grading, and text placement, then gives you a detailed blueprint you can follow to match that style in your own content.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. We collect your card upfront so we can convert you smoothly to the paid plan after the trial, but you can cancel anytime during those 7 days and you will not be charged. Paid plans start at $9/month after the trial.

HookMaster : AI Video Hook Analysis

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and HookMaster ("HookMaster", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of tryhookmaster.com and related products, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have valid parent/guardian permission.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.

2. Beta Status and Service Changes

The Service may include beta or experimental features and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, request, or distribute content that:

Violates law, regulation, or third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights).
Is sexually explicit, exploitative, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, hateful, violent, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
Impersonates another person or entity in a misleading or deceptive way.
Contains malware, harmful code, or attempts to compromise platform security.
Attempts to reverse engineer, scrape, benchmark, abuse rate limits, or build competing models/services from the Service or outputs where prohibited by law.

4. Your Content and Rights You Grant

You retain ownership of the videos, prompts, text, images, and other content you submit ("Inputs") and results you receive ("Outputs"), subject to third-party rights and applicable law.

You grant us and our subprocessors a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, transform, cache, and store Inputs and Outputs as needed to provide, secure, moderate, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

5. AI Inputs, Outputs, and Your Liability

AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, biased, offensive, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable.
You must independently review and validate all outputs before use or publication.
You are solely and fully responsible and liable for all Inputs, Outputs, and any content you publish, distribute, or rely on.
HookMaster does not accept responsibility or liability for explicit, sexual, violent, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful content generated through or from use of the Service.
You are responsible for obtaining all permissions, releases, and licenses needed for people, voices, likenesses, music, trademarks, and other protected material.

6. Reference Media of People and Human Likeness Generation

Several features allow you to upload reference images, videos, or audio for AI video generation that may depict human likenesses (for example, image-to-video or reference-to-video flows in Seedance 2.0 and Kling). By using these features, you agree to the following:

Ownership and consent: You represent and warrant that you legally own all uploaded reference material and hold full usage and disposal rights, or that you have obtained explicit, informed consent from the depicted individual for AI-generated video use.
No unauthorized material: The uploaded material must not contain unauthorized third-party trademarks, logos, or copyrighted content.
No impersonation or rights violations: The material must not be used to impersonate any natural person without their consent, must not be plagiarized or stolen, and must not infringe any third party's personality rights, right of publicity, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
Lawful content only: The material must not contain content that violates applicable laws, public order, good morals, or national security requirements.
Content moderation: All uploaded reference media is subject to automated content moderation and safety review by our AI providers. Material that fails moderation will be rejected.
Your liability: You are solely and fully responsible for ensuring your use of reference-media features complies with all applicable laws, including privacy laws, right of publicity laws, biometric data laws (such as BIPA, GDPR), and any other regulations in your jurisdiction. HookMaster is not liable for claims arising from your use of reference-media or likeness features.

7. Content Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement

We may use automated tools and human review to detect policy violations, fraud, abuse, and illegal content. We may remove content, block prompts, suspend/terminate accounts, preserve evidence, and report to relevant authorities where required or appropriate by law. We are not obligated to monitor all content.

8. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at support@tryhookmaster.com with sufficient detail for us to investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Third-Party Services and Models

The Service may rely on third-party AI, hosting, payment, and analytics providers. Your use may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, or policy changes.

10. Fees, Subscriptions, and Credits

Paid features, pricing, and credit allocations are shown on our pricing pages or checkout flow.
Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable and credits are non-transferable.
Unused credits do not roll over unless expressly stated.
We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

11. Data Retention and No Backup Obligation

Uploaded files and generated assets may be deleted under our retention schedules. HookMaster is not a backup or archival service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HookMaster, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your Inputs, Outputs, use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookMaster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for suspected policy, legal, payment, or security violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, indemnity, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law based on your jurisdiction and mandatory consumer protections. Where permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as a class or representative action.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
